Jade's News
Jade presented a poster describing her research on source monitoring errors (cryptomnesia, specially) in collaborative learning environments. Her research explores the conditions under which people are more/less likely to unconsciously plagiarize a partner -- do people "steal" from AI more than humans?
Jade's poster won fan favorite at the event!

Theo's News
Theo is one of two recipients of the competitive Siegel Endowment Award for Undergraduate Research for the Summer 2026! This summer, Theo will be working closely with Jade on a systematic review of the literature exploring how emotions impact memory formation. The review takes a critical look at effects of valence, intensity, and stimulus modality.

Logan's News
Logan is one of two recipients of the competitive Siegel Endowment Award for Undergraduate Research for the Summer 2026! This summer, Logan will continue to refine his independent research with Megan. Last year, he collected pilot data exploring how social media usage impacts learning. This year, he will expand his work to examine best practices in studying, focusing closely on how different study contexts facilitate or impair learning.

Hourieh's News
Houri continues to mentor undergrads in the research process while also managing her own productive program of research. In addition to her compensated summer position as a data analyst for the EMMA Lab, she is working closely with two former lab researchers on a systematic review of the literature on lineup position effects.
